Terms and Conditions of Basler Company AG (Switzerland)

1 Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to all contracts concluded via the online shop www.word‑clock.ch between Basler Company AG, Linerhofstrasse 3, 9032 Engelburg, Switzerland (hereinafter “the Seller”), and the purchaser.

The version valid at the time of ordering shall apply.

A purchaser is any natural or legal person ordering goods or services from the Seller’s online shop.

2 Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.

By submitting an order, the purchaser makes a binding offer to buy the selected products.

The purchase contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order by email (order confirmation) or dispatches the goods.

Order details will be sent to the purchaser by email. For security reasons, they are not permanently accessible online after completion of the order.

3 Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in CHF and include Swiss value‑added tax (MWST).

Any shipping costs are displayed during the checkout process.

Accepted payment methods are:
Prepayment (bank transfer), TWINT, PayPal, and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
For prepayment, the purchaser undertakes to transfer the full amount immediately after conclusion of the contract.

4 Delivery

Unless otherwise indicated in the product description, all items offered are ready for dispatch.

Delivery is made within 4 working days after receipt of payment and exclusively within Switzerland.

The risk of accidental loss or damage to the goods passes to the purchaser upon delivery.

5 Retention of title

The goods remain the property of Basler Company AG until full payment has been received.

6 Voluntary Right of Return (14 Days)

Customers have the option to return products within **14 days** of receipt as a **voluntary goodwill return right**.
This right applies exclusively to purchases made through the online shop www.word‑clock.ch and is offered as a gesture of goodwill, not as a statutory right.

To initiate a return, please inform the Seller within the 14‑day period by email or in writing at:

Returned goods must be complete, undamaged, unused, and in their original packaging, including all accessories.
Damage or signs of improper handling (e.g. ignoring the user instructions) exclude the possibility of return. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned goods, the purchase amount will be refunded using the same payment method as used for the original transaction.

Refunds are made within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods.

Return shipping costs are borne by the purchaser, except in the case of incorrect delivery or product defect.

This voluntary return right does not affect statutory warranty rights under Swiss law.

7 Warranty / Defect Liability

The provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (Articles 197 et seq. OR) apply.

For verified defects, the Seller may choose to repair the product or provide a replacement.

Further claims by the purchaser, particularly compensation for consequential damages, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

8 Contract language

The contract language is German.

10 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law exclusively applies.
The place of jurisdiction is St. Gallen, Switzerland.
